Stewart Co. High is off to
historic start this football season
Royal Knights are 2-0 for first time in
school history; Also have 1st win over Randolph County in the last 27 years

   The Stewart County High School varsity football team is making people take notice early in the season. The Royal Knights improved to 2-0 last Friday with a dominating 33-0 victory over Region 1A rival Randolph-Clay.
   "Friday night's win marked the first time in school history the Knights have started out 2-0 and it was the first time Stewart County or Stewart-Quitman has beaten Randolph County since 1991," noted Head Coach Ashley Harden.
   It's no secret that the smallest schools in Class A, including Stewart County, find it challenging to simply field a football team, which means that it's doubly difficult to field a winning team. So far in 2018 the Royal Knights ... The rest of the story.
