Marion men carve out names
for themselves as artists

   Two Marion County residents have really carved out names for themselves as accomplished artists in the wood carving field. That fact is evident by the number of awards won at the 2021 Georgia National Fair by Rocky Wade and Mark Harper.
   Rocky Wade, a longtime wood carver, rocked the fair's art contest with four 1st place awards, to go with a trio of 2nd places, and one 3rd place.
