Football team to miss playoffs

   As school officials prepared for the 2020-2021 school year while facing the Coronavirus Pandemic, they did so knowing it would most likely be unlike any year before and pose a variety of challenges.
   The latest is the recent temporary closing of the Marion County Middle-High School building due to a student testing positive for COVID-19. The fact that middle and high school level students interact with each other (and staff members) more than younger students means that the potential for transmission of the virus is greater.
