The Chattahoochee County High School varsity football team advanced to the second round of the State Playoffs by pulling off one of the state's biggest upsets of the year last Friday against No. 7 ranked Washington-Wilkes.
GHSFD (Georgia High School Football Daily) had the No. 17 ranked Panthers as 33-point underdogs, but ChattCo fought hard and pulled off a last minute victory, beating the Tigers 12-7.
"We were big underdogs on the road and it was cold and rainy, but our kids met the challenge," said Head Coach Jody Allen. "I'm real proud of them."
