Marion Schools get $500,000 Grant

   The Marion County School System has been awarded a grant of over $500,000 as one of 38 Georgia districts that are receiving Literacy for Learning, Living, and Leading in Georgia (L4GA) grants.
   The goal of the grant is to improve student learning in the areas of reading and literacy.
   Superintendent Glenn Tidwell and the Marion County Board of Education are very excited about this opportunity and are eager to put the money to good use toward reading education.
