   Not too many years ago one of the most unique "folk art" sites in the world, Buena Vista's Pasaquan, was in danger of being lost. Last Wednesday evening the Marion County Chamber of Commerce hosted a special "Thank You Dinner" at Sign of the Dove Bed & Breakfast to show its appreciation for the folks who turned it completely around.
   Prior to the current restoration project, a small group of dedicated volunteers formed the

Pasaquan Preservation Society (PPS) to keep the seven-acre wonderland created by the late Eddie Owens Martin from falling further and further into disarray.
