School Panthers Graduate

   Chattahoochee County High School's diverse Class of 2022 officially graduated in a special ceremony held in Panther Stadium the evening of Friday, May 27.
   The prospective graduates marched onto the field with Pomp & Circumstance. Class President Melanie Sanchez-Villalobos then welcomed everyone.
   Cadet LTC Skylar Jones, JROTC Commander, led in the Posting of Colors, which was followed by the National Anthem, the Pledge of Allegiance, and a moment of silence.
   Principal Josh Kemp then addressed the class and was followed by State Rep. Mike Cheokas.
   Salutatorian Jossalyn Carretti then spoke to her classmates and the crowd. She thanked everyone in attendance for being there, including her grandma, who traveled across the country to witness the milestone.
   Carretti also thanked teachers and faculty, who she said have made a huge difference in their lives. She specifically recognized Mrs. Whittaker, who she believes had a major impact on many of the class members.
