County looking into doing
Animal Control for Fort Benning

   The Commission of the Unified Government of Cusseta-Chattahoochee County gave approval for the Chattahoochee County Board of Education to move ahead with refinancing that will save a considerable sum of money, heard of the need to make an adjustment to make sure a coroner is always on duty, agreed to consider handling animal control for Fort Benning, and discussed other issues during its recent meeting.
   Chattahoochee County School Superintendent Dr. Kristie Brooks told commissioners that they have an opportunity to refinance the school system's bond from 3.25% to 1.07%.
