Hall to become Schley Superintendent

   The Schley County Board of Education decided to promote from within to fill its vacant superintendent position. Longtime employee Brian Hall will be the next top administrator.
  It's not official yet, as state law requires board of education to release the names of their finalists 14 days prior to voting to fill a superintendent position. However, the Schley BOE recently named Hall as the sole finalist, so it appears to be a mere formality. They are expected to vote to make it official on June 28.
   Hall joined the Schley County School System in 2009 and has served in a variety of leadership positions. He has most recently been serving as interim superintendent. Now that he will be the "Top Cat", he looks forward to helping the system sustain its high standards and continue to improve.
