Comedy Show fills Buena Vista
with plenty of chuckles

   Fox Hall brought live entertainment to downtown Buena Vista again last Saturday evening, but this time instead of featuring a musical act the venue hosted a group of comics that had locals chuckling the night away.
   Sam Beman of Phenix City was the opening act, as well as the emcee for the traveling Combover Comedy Lounge, whose Clean Comedy Show manages to be edgy and entertaining without using vulgarity or offensive shock tactics. He said their trip to Buena Vista (which they all had fun pronouncing) was definitely worth it.
   "As a comedian, you never know what a venue is going to be like if you've never been there before," Beman said. "That was definitely the case with Fox Hall. I personally had never heard of it and I live less than an hour away. My expectations were far exceeded. The room was electric ... The rest of the story.
