Fugitive caught after fleeing
Marion and hiding in Sumter

   A slippery suspect who had evaded local and area law enforcement for days was captured hiding under a house late Tuesday afternoon in Americus. He had allegedly committed a variety of crimes and slipped through several capture attempts earlier this week.
   Christopher Jim "Cracker Jack" Yawn, a 5' 9", 175-pound white male, allegedly stole a truck in Eastman (Dodge County) and wrecked it in the Tazewell Community of Marion County, near the intersection of Highway 137 and Moody Road.
