Proposed Cusseta Development
is back with a new name

   A developer has informed the Unified Government of Cusseta-Chattahoochee County that they are ready to attempt to move forward once again with a plan for a potentially large residential subdivision.
   It's not a new plan, but it has been revised and the proposed name has been changed. Previously, the proposed development on 320 acres off of Gordy Mill Pond Road was to be called "The Plantations at Red Oak." Now, the new name is "Freedom Village."
   At least one significant change is included in the plan, according to County Manager Laura Lee Bernstein, who briefed county commissioners on the basics of the proposal during a meeting on July 14. They propose building ... The rest of the story.
