Marion Renews Water/Roads
Contract, Denies Alcohol License

   The Marion County Commission narrowly voted to renew its contract with Clear Water Solutions (CWS - the company that handles the county's Water and Roads Departments), denied an alcohol license to a business in the Oakland Community, agreed to ask a resident who lives in a subdivision to take down a gate, heard from a resident's lawyer about damage to a vehicle, and discussed other items during its meeting on July 14.
   Water & Roads Contract: After a lengthy discussion, the commissioners voted 3-2 to extend Clear Water Solutions' contract for two years.
