Marion residents participate in
Fair Count virtual meeting

   "Fair Count", a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to partnering with hard-to-count communities to get more accurate Census figures, made a "virtual stop" in Marion County recently. The event replaced the previously planned bus tour, which was cancelled due to safety concerns.
   Instead of physically being in Buena Vista with the big bus, Program Director Ed Reed moderated an online virtual roundtable discussion with five young adults who either presently live in or are from Marion County.
The participants were LPN Jalaa Tullis Hosley, LPN Brittany Crawford, Probation Officer Michael Grier, Chick-fil-a employee Clifton Hollomon, and Brittany Kinsey, who works in communications for Apple and has aspirations to earn a law degree.
