Schley Commission moves
forward with proposed dilapidated property law

   The second reading of an ordinance giving the Commission, through the zoning regulations, the ability to address the issue of dilapidated property by taking the owner to court or fining them, or placing a lien, was held during the recent Schley County Commission meeting. A motion to approve the ordinance was passed and the third and final reading will take place at the August meeting.
