   The Marion County Commission fielded concerns/requests from several local residents, got a comprehensive review of septic tank requirements, and discussed various issues during its recent monthly meeting.
   Local resident Spencer Welch appeared before the Commission to request help with water pressure at his residence on Smoke Street. He explained that the water pressure at his residence has been an ongoing issue that he has discussed with some commissioners and Clear Water employees since 2019. (Clear Water is the company that handles the day-to-day operation of the Water Department.)
   Welch said the county's water system doesn't supply his home with the minimum psi (pounds per square inch, pressure) required by state code. He has a pressure gauge to measure it and said he is not getting 20 psi on a regular basis. He noted that the pressure is so low at times that his kids have to hold the handle of the shower in the on position or it will cut off.
   "They're not even enough pressure to keep the shower on," said Welch.
