Marion officials pave way for Dollar General, approve budget and much more

   The Marion County Commission rezoned land to pave the way for a new Dollar General store, approved a budget of $5.03 million for 2018, started the process of developing a new Fire Services Advisory Board, voted to abandon a portion of a local road, applied for funding to help with the paving of J.P. Hudson Road, elected officers, and discussed various other items during its recent monthly meeting.
