Marion Co. High sweeps pair of
double-headers to improve to 6-0

Local fans have a great opportunity to catch the undefeated team in action this week. The 6-0 Eagles will host Miller County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26, before welcoming Kendrick High to Eagle Field on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 5:30 p.m. They will wrap the week up with a home double-header against Greenville on Friday, Feb. 28 with the first game starting at 5 p.m.

   The Marion County High varsity baseball team swept a pair of double-headers to extend their season-opening winning streak to six games.
   The Eagles beat Jordan 5-4 and 17-8 in Columbus on Feb. 15.
   In the first game, the teams were tied 2-2 going into the final inning when Marion scored 3 and then held off Jordan, which scored 2, making the final score 5-4.
