The public is invited to the 4th Annual Can You Cross Country? 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run on Friday, March 23 at Marion County Middle/High School. The Fun Run begins at 6 p.m. and the 5K will start at 7 p.m.
Come out and experience a 5K on the MCMHS Cross Country Course and see Eagle Country like you've never seen it before. The course winds across the property and will give you a unique view of the entire campus.
You don't have to be a runner to participate. Walkers are welcome, too!
Highlights will include music with a DJ, food, and free T-shirts for participants (while they last, pre-register by March 8 to guarantee one).
Also, for the 5K, trophies will be presented to the top male and female

finishers, and the top three male and female in each age division will earn medals. For the Fun Run, the top three boys and girls will also earn medals.
This event is organized by the MCMHS XC Booster Club and supported by local sponsors. All proceeds will be used for the benefit of the Marion County Cross Country Teams.
Registration forms are available in the offices at MCMHS and L.K. Moss Elementary School. The form may also be downloaded here. The 5K is $25 in advance and $30 on race day. The Fun Run is $12 in advance and $15 on race day.
