   Buena Vista's D.J. Lemons has landed a new gig that seems to fit him to a T. The never-give-up athlete and entrepreneur is the new head coach for the Phenix City Buccaneers, a post high school football program designed to help prospective athletes receive athletic scholarships at the collegiate level.
   "I accepted the position to provide young men an opportunity," Lemons said. "An opportunity to develop themselves before moving on to a 4-year institution. Unfortunately, a lot of seniors who sign with 4-year institutions are not prepared going in. Also, a lot of athletes are under-recruited and overlooked, so this gives them a platform to develop strongly in the classroom and on the gridiron. I know how big of a role my coaches played in my life, so it's a must to return the favor and help other young men. It's time and I accept the challenge."
