Christmas Extravaganza in Schley

From the Dec. 1, 2021 issue
of The Journal

By Linda Adams
Featuring a quarter mile of Christmas lights and many different scenes, the Christmas Lights Extravaganza by Deer Creek Apiaries will be lit every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night from now through January 2 of next year.
In addition to the light displays, a "Honey Hut" will be open this year for the first time. There will be honey and merchandise for sale and Santa will be there each night for the kids to have their picture taken with him.
To see the Extravaganza: from Ellaville take Highway 26 east towards Montezuma to mile marker 10 and turn left onto Deer Creek Road; go about 2 miles and turn right onto Woodward.
Please consider showing your appreciation with a dollar donation to keep the lights running along with a non-perishable food item for our local area food banks.
