Moon Family Theatre in Buena Vista was packed for two separate showings of the Performance Academy's special "Gettin' in the Mood for Christmas' concert Saturday, November 27.
The popular show was the culmination of the recent semester of classes, training, and rehearsals for students of the Performance Academy, along with some special guests.
"The performers, coaches, tech crew, and directors put in endless amounts of hard work over the last few days to bring this production together," said Lynn McAllister, academy founder. "Getting' in the Mood for Christmas was a spectacular end to a great semester and I am proud of each individual involved. I am excited about the bright future of the Performance Academy."
The show, which ran around three hours, gave each performer ample opportunities to put their talent and hard work in front of an appreciative audience. In addition to the talent on display, it was evident that the academy went "all out" with decorations, costumes, choreography, lighting, etc. to make it a spectacular and professional-level event.
