   The Buena Vista City Council passed an ordinance mandating masks or face coverings be worn in public areas within the city limits during its meeting on Tuesday, December 8.
   The Buena Vista Police Department has been authorized to enforce the ordinance by issuing fines to those who don't comply with it. The fine for the first offense is $25, while additional offenses may result in a fine of $50.
