Schley School Year starts with
78% in school, 22% opting for online

   As this issue of The Journal was going to press, Schley County Schools were preparing to host students on the first day of school, Wednesday, August 5. Approximately 78% of students were expected to attend, while around 22% signed up for the virtual learning option that is being offered.
   Superintendent Brian Hall issued the following letter to parents/students on Monday.
   Schley County Schools will begin the 2020-21 school year August 5th. The system will be offering in-person as well as virtual instruction to students. Social distancing will be a main focus for the return with an effort to maintain cohort groupings in each setting.
