Amy Brittingham, 30, died in a single-vehicle accident. She leaves behind children aged 11, 10, and 2.
Her mother-in-law, Teresa Wragg of Mauk, has started an online fundraiser for the family on Facebook. The direct link is As of Tuesday morning, a little less than $1,000 had been raised, but they will need much more, as the family has to deal not only with a burial, but also medical bills and trips to Atlanta, etc.
Wragg's description of the situation on the fundraiser page is as follows: "My daughter-in-law was in a very bad accident and God took her home. She had no insurance and we really don't have the money for the funeral arrangements. The family had no insurance on her. This was tragic to the family. The three kids she had were also thrown from the vehicle and were hurt very bad. One has been taken to Atlanta. We really need help in this time to put her at rest. Anything would really help."
