Buena Vista Family turns hobby
into promising business

   What began as a hobby has turned into a promising new business for a Buena Vista family. Joel and Stephanie Tischler started making goat milk soap around a year ago, never really thinking it would be anything other than something fun to do.
   However, as they began to share their creations with friends, the feedback was so positive that they figured they'd test the market and try to sell some. So, last October they had a booth at the annual Rural America Festival in Buena Vista. The response was terrific.
   Still, they weren't sure about the business aspect of it.
   "That was our first festival and the community support was great, but our packaging was rudimentary and we had just gotten started ... The rest of the story.
