Stewart Webster Cancer Fund
   Mike Blanton, a native of Richland set out from Richland on July 29 to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle from Savannah to California in an effort to raise money and awareness for a local non-profit organization, Stewart Webster Cancer Fund (SWCF).
   The now resident of Harris County has a passion for the people in the community where he grew up and wanted to help them in their battles against cancer. He was personally inspired to make this journey by the recent death of a lifelong friend, Angel Miller, and the survivor success story of the daughter of a school classmate, Carrie Turner.
