MCHS Eagles Soar into State Playoffs;
Community is asked to 'Fill the Hill' this Friday

   Excitement is high in Eagle Nation, as Marion County High School prepares to host a state baseball playoff series for the first time in school history (after the TCHS era).
   The Eagles (19-11 overall, 9-3 in Region 5A) are the region's No. 2 seed and will host GMC (Georgia Military College's prep school) in a double-header this Friday, April 29 at 5 p.m. If a third game is needed in the best-of-three series, they will play again on Saturday at 11 a.m.
   Head Coach John Dimitri is asking the community to reward the Eagles by turning out in force to cheer them on.
   "We need as many former Eagles and fans

to 'Fill the Hill' and cheer us on," said Dimitri.
   He added: "The regular season has been one we all can be proud of, we as a team set goals at the beginning of the season and we were able to accomplish a lot of those goals. Competing in the region and fighting our way to a No. 2 seed in the state playoffs is a huge step...
