Here's how area schools came out in US News & World Report Ranking

   Area high schools ranked from 211 to 324 in the state in the latest Best High Schools Rankings from US News & World Report. There are 808 high schools in Georgia, so each of the area schools ranked at least in the top 60% statewide.
   This is an unofficial ranking produced by the magazine. It is based on schools' performance on state-required tests, graduation rates, and how well they prepare students for college (based on publically available data). Schools were compared on state assessments, graduation rates and college-level exams. The data used is entirely from third-party sources and pertains primarily to the 2017-2018 academic year.
Stewart County
   Stewart County High School is ranked 211th within Georgia (top 74%), which is the highest ranking of all five high schools in The Journal's coverage area. The school's total minority enrollment is 97% and 100% of students are economically disadvantaged.
   The school's enrollment (9-12) is 111. The school has 10 full-time teachers and the student-teacher ratio is 12-to-1.
