The Schley County High varsity football team continued to close in on the Region 6 title by beating fellow Top 10 ranked Manchester High 28-6 last Friday on the road.
The Wildcats (6-2 overall, 4-0 in Region 6) can clinch the championship by winning one more region game. Their remaining opponents are Marion County (2-6, 2-1) and Greenville (2-5, 0-2).
Head Coach Darren Alford said last Friday's win over a quality opponent was perhaps the team's best performance so far this season.
