Chatt officials vote on Mobile Home requests

 The Commission of the Unified Government of Cusseta-Chattahoochee County recently voted on several proposed conditional use permits, voted to contact with Enterprise Rental Company to lease vehicles in the future, approved a study to possibly tie the local sewer system in with Fort Benning and Columbus Water Works, and discussed various other issues.
  The commissioners approved two of the Conditional Use Permits (CUPs) with little fanfare but denied a third request after hearing considerable input - both for and against - from the public.
  The one that was turned down was for Commissioner Damon Hoyte, who spoke during the public hearing, but not only abstained from voting but also left the room when the vote was made.
