DOD serves hundreds in recent free clinic in Stewart County

 The US Department of Defense (DOD) served 377 Stewart Countians during its nine-day medical clinic here in Stewart County. Another 161 people from other counties and at least two other states also received treatment. Dental services were far and away the most requested service during that time.
  The DOD partnered with the Stewart County Commission, Stewart County Family Connection, and Stewart County Cooperative Extension to hold the clinic, which provided medical exams, dental work, optical work, and mental health services at no cost to the consumers who came.
