Developer Pitches Plan for Cusseta Subdivision

 The potential development of a subdivision was a big topic during the recent monthly meeting of the Commission of the Unified Government of Cusseta-Chattahoochee County. Officials also voted to become a Second Amendment Sanctuary County and discussed other issues, including a change to the charter and fees to be charged for future liquor stores.
Development: Jeff Daniels appeared before commissioners to outline the broad parameters of an effort to acquire 56 acres and develop a residential subdivision with as many as 42 homes with a possible retail plaza being added later. The general area of the land being looked at is on Old Highway 137.
